The primary mission of
the Association is to faciltate the Users of
Intergraph systems to meet all together and to
encourage the experiences exchange on the system
usage aimed to improve the best use of them.
As a result of this
experiences exchange the Users Group has also the mission
to suggest to Intergraph the improvements of their
current systems and
the new requirements for new systems development that are of interest for companies member of IUGI.
The main reference point of the Users Group is Intergraph Italiy.
Further the Users
Group helps the members to meet Third Party
providers
of services and systems that are complementary to the services and systems provided by Intergraph.
The primary mission of the Association, as an independent
association from Intergraph, did never change during the Association's
life even if the Intergraph company structure did change
many times during the last 25 years. Intergraph was
a company listed at NASDAQ, became a company
fully owed by a private investor company and delisted from NASDAQ and now is an Hexagon "division".
The primary mission of the Association
did never change even when
Intergraph made the decision to narrow the range
of their product dropping the manifacturing of hardware systems or systems for electronic design or mechanical modeling.
This mission was
fulfilled over the past 25 years and will be fulfilled
also for the years to come remaing the core mission
of
the Association because the business of the Companies that are members of IUGI did not change.
