Integration of SPPID in
the Company Workflow: an effective approach to the
schematic's quality improvement.
The
presentation's target is to present the integration
developed by Tecnimont over the last 8 years of project
executed using SmartPlant P&ID, to help the
development of P&ID and to carry out data
consistency checks for different IT tools used (both in
house developed or off the shelf) with the aim to
improve the final quality of the project. Some live

About eight years ago in the E&P
Engineering unit has become necessary to create a DB to
handle significant data component of the Facilities.
After a market survey the choice fell on Intergraph
Foundation. Today Eni E&P will illustrate the
advantages of using, since the initial phase of the
project, Foundation together with other advanced tools
for an "intelligent" design. This allows to obtain lower
costs and a range of consistent technical information
and documents of quality, which will be available
throughout all plant life cycle, both during engineering
phases and during construction, production/maintenance
and decommissioning. It will be shown the application of
Methodologies, Coding and Information Systems in an

The "New Marian". A collaboration experience about a material management software innovation initiative.
The presentation shows the experience carried out by Saipem and Intergraph regarding the collaboration in the development of new and innovative features, built on the former Marian. The focus is on the approach that the team carried out, exploiting how two different points of view, with opposite dynamics, can match to reach a single goal. Techint is one of the founders of this Users's Association and in some ways is the mirror of the path taken by most Users and our "Technology Provider". We started following Nuclear Power Plant market, then we had a pause for reflection, and then we took the road marked out by ours visionaries (pioneers) of the early days (Ing. Turci, Doc. Zumelli) in a determined and structured. We first "adopted CAD technology" then 3D technology, after we "discovered" the Schematics environment, and finally the Integrated System. In our presentation we would like to share with everyone the steps already performed, but especially the ones that we developed in the last a couple of years, that we will continue with determination until the success. L'ecosistema lagunare non h solo un territorio "unico" per le caratteristiche fisiche e biologiche peculiari, di transizione tra la terra, le zone d'acqua e il mare ma h anche un territorio "paradigmatico" in quanto la sua recente evoluzione geografica ha rappresentato, in termini significativamente problematici, la crisi del rapporto tra il mondo naturale e il mondo umano manifestatasi negli ultimi decenni del secolo scorso. Dal riconoscimento di questa situazione h maturato l'impegno dell'uomo di individuare soluzioni sostenibili di tutela e di valorizzazione delle risorse naturali nel rispetto delle molteplici esigenze della societ`, attraverso la collaborazione tra istituzioni, amministratori, scienziati, tecnici ed esecutori: impegno che si h concretizzato nell'emanazione di una legislazione speciale e, di conseguenza, nello svolgimento di un complesso programma di studi e di interventi per la salvaguardia di Venezia, dei centri urbani lagunari e della laguna dalle acque alte, dall'azione erosiva del mare e dal degrado fisico e ambientale, coordinato dal Magistrato alle Acque di Venezia ed h stato affidato, per la sua realizzazione, al Consorzio Venezia Nuova in quanto concessionario per le opere competenza dello Stato. In questo contesto, il compito principale del Servizio Informativo - che opera come sezione del Magistrato alle Acque - h proprio quello di far incontrare i diversi saperi, raccogliendone e confrontandone i patrimoni informativi e realizzando strumenti tecnologici utili alla conoscenza, al monitoraggio, alla gestione territoriale dell'ecosistema e in particolare allo svolgimento delle attivit` per la salvaguardia. La futura gestione delle opere realizzate ed il monitoraggio ambientale e morfologico della laguna di Venezia avr` quindi nel Servizio Informativo e negli uffici del Magistrato alle Acque, dotati dei numerosi strumenti di conoscenza realizzati, un valido ed essenziale supporto. The SIT of the Municipalities Association of Trigno Sinello region. Il presupposto per un uso
razionale e sostenibile del territorio h la sua
conoscenza; h per rispondere a questa esigenza che
l'Associazione dei Comuni del Trigno Sinello ha
implementato un progetto finalizzato alla messa in
condivisione delle informazioni territoriali al fine di
creare una banca dati unica ed integrata che consentisse
un'interazione piy efficace tra i diversi uffici e con i
dati da questi gestiti. La pubblica amministrazione
produce e gestisce molteplici dati (demografici,
tributari, edilizi, ecc...), che tuttavia non sempre h
in grado di far dialogare. Gli uffici comunali, pur
lavorando sul territorio, con i cittadini, non sempre
riescono a scambiare tra loro dati utili che, se
condivisi, permetterebbero invece un rilevante risparmio
di tempo e di risorse sia all'amministrazione sia ai
professionisti operanti sul territorio, evitando cosl
tempi lunghi ed attese. Prevalentemente rivolto ai
comuni, il sistema h utilizzato da diversi
professionisti e aziende che operano nel territorio
poichi trovano un data base sempre aggiornato grazie al
lavoro quotidiano dei tecnici dei diversi Enti
coinvolti. Questo permette a un tecnico di avere
immediatamente informazioni cartografiche su una o piy
particelle catastali di un comune, risparmiando tempi di
attesa o di spostamento; pur, inoltre, stampare un
certificato di destinazione urbanistica con le relative
norme tecniche e stralci di mappa in scala. La gestione
dei dati h affidata a Si-Desk per GeoMedia con i vari
moduli verticali (CAT, URB, CIV e AP); i dati sono resi
disponibili su rete internet attraverso Si-Web che
utilizza come motore di mapping GeoMedia WebMap.
All'accesso sono richieste le credenziali quindi il
sistema propone all'utente la consolle a lui

The Marche Region AEDES Project: seismic damage, mapping and analysis of the seismic risk.
The Aedes project has been developed by the Multirisk Functional Center - Civil Protection and Integrated Security Department of the Marche Region. The Aedes Project is an information system for the gathering of data useful to fulfill the Aedes form (i.e., a form where data about earthquake damages are acquired in order to decide if a build fit for human habitation or not). Data are acquired on the camp by technical teams, such teams are organized and arranged by the information system itself that manages work shifts, members etc . The teams find the buildings that have to be analyzed and digitally acquire data and photos needed to estimate if each build is habitable or not after the earthquake. The Aedes system architecture is based on a set of Web Services that gather data for a centralized server located in the Marche Region server farm, such a server redistributes data by means of Web pages. The operative room can thus be continuously updated on the state of inspections: operators can extract reports that show municipalities interested by the earthquake, how many building are inhabitable etc. All data is geo-referenced, that means that information can be surfed with a geographical information system and represented on maps with different feature representing different information layers.
Due to earthquake replication of "seismic crisis", a recent improvement of the Aedes system has been the feature to manage inspection in two or more seismic event simultaneously. Speakers: Maurizio Ferretti -

The integration of high resolution laser scan data into 3D CAD design and asset management to support the the Plant lifecycle from Plant Design and Engineering through to Plant Information Management. During
the last two decades the techniques for 3D as-built data capture in Process Facilities have evolved from the simple tape measure on to photogrammetry and most latterly to 3D laser scanning. During this evolution people have strived to maximise the value of this 3D as-built data by enabling it to be used effectively inside Plant Design and Engineering systems whilst at the same time enabling it to be used for Plant Information Management through the lifecycle of the plant. - verifiche dimensionali.

CAESAR II - Answering the
Challenge of Design and Engineering Collaboration. Often
engineering and design functions are viewed upon as
being totally separate in their function and
deliverables. Although this is true in many regards
there are substantial productivity gains that can come
from allowing both engineering and design to share
information seamlessly. In this discussion the presenter
will outline how Intergraph CAESAR II is helping break
down those barriers by enabling pipe stress engineers
and piping designers work and share information in a
true integrated work environment. We will also share
plans and visions for this integration in the SmartPlant
